Traditional German landrace variety selected in the Hersbruck area.  Good to very good aroma hop.  Used for Lagers, Pilsners, Bocks, Weizen Bocks, Wheats, Belgian-Style Ales, Kolsch and Munich Helles.

A noble aroma type. Has developed into the variety with the largest acreage - grown throughout the Hallertau, Spalt and Hersbruck. Moderate-intensity floral character for aroma additions in German or Belgian beers.
